SHELDON M. MCGEE is an Associate Attorney in the Chemical,
Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Department of
The Nath Law Group.
Mr.
McGee’s practice includes the acquisition of U.S. and foreign
patents and the preparation of patentability and validity opinions.
Prior
to joining Nath & Associates, Mr. McGee was Corporate Counsel
and Manager of Contracts Administration with Telxon Corporation in
Cincinnati, Ohio.
While with Telxon, Mr. McGee was involved with the oversight
of an extensive corporate patent portfolio, conducted contract
review and analysis, and conducted international due diligence for
corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Before attending law school, Mr. McGee
was an Organic Chemist with the South Carolina Department of Health
and Environmental Control. There,
he specialized in organic extraction of various pesticides,
herbicides and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in water, sediment
and fish, and monitored the toxin levels by gas chromatography and
HPLC. He was also
responsible for implementing methods for new extraction techniques.
Mr. McGee was awarded a J.D. degree from
Vermont Law School in May 2000. He also received a B.S. degree in
Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 1995.
Mr. McGee is admitted to practice before
the Bars of the District of Columbia and the Court of Appeals for
the Federal Circuit, and is registered to practice before the U.S.
Patent and Trademark Office.
