ROSS A. EPSTEIN is the Managing Partner of the San Diego Office.
Mr. Epstein's area of practice entails providing legal advice to
businesses as an outsourced general counsel with an emphasis on
general corporate governance, drafting and negotiating agreements,
real estate transactions and litigation, insurance coverage and
general business litigation. Mr. Epstein has extensive experience in
starting and operating new business ventures internationally.
Prior to joining The Nath Law Group, Mr. Epstein spent nine years as President & CEO of BCH
Communications in Poland and the Czech Republic. Mr. Epstein
co-founded BCH Communications in 1992. The company initially offered
discount international telephone service in Prague, Warsaw and
Budapest. Mr. Epstein transformed the company into a switchless
reseller of telecommunication services. By 1999, BCH Communications
had become a national internet service provider in Poland offering
voice over the internet and traditional internet access services
across an eight-city network with over 100 employees. Mr. Epstein
developed the corporate business strategy, raised debt and equity
financing and was responsible for a nationwide advertising and
marketing campaign. Mr. Epstein chaired the Telecom Committee of the
American Chamber of Commerce in Poland.
Mr. Epstein was an Associate with Brobeck,
Phleger and Harrison where he practiced corporate litigation from
1988 until 1992. His areas of expertise included real estate,
creditor's rights, landlord-tenant, securities and insurance
coverage disputes. He was a Law Clerk for The Honorable Howard B.
Turrentine, United States District Court for the Southern District
of California from 1987 to 1988.
Mr. Epstein received his Juris Doctor
degree with honors from Boston University School of Law in 1987. He
was a Note and Case Editor for the Boston University Law Review. He
was a G. Joseph Tauro Distinguished Scholar in law school, received
the American Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law and was the
President of the International Law Society. Mr. Epstein received an
AB degree in History from Princeton University in 1983
Mr. Epstein is admitted to practice before
the Bar in the State of California and the United States District
Court for the Southern District of California. He is a member of the
San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Regional Chamber of
Commerce and the San Diego Venture Group. He participates as a
panelist and mentor in the University of California in San Diego
(UCSD) Springboard CONNECT Program which aids entrepreneurs in the
development of their high technology businesses for
